The role I play

Meditation plays an integral role in the continuation of the work that I do. It allows me to stay centred in my heartfelt truth and live from a place of peace and integrity. This calmness flows through to my clients and creates a safe space in which clients feel able able to open up to healing aspects of their own inner child.

I am empathetic to people’s situations and understand their pain and know how to help them move through it with clear, simple steps. These steps are outlined throughout the Inner Child Guided Visualization Meditations that I have created.

My life experience plays a large role in my work and the depth of my own story helps me relate to the struggles of others. Since we may not have the same story but we may share an understanding of the experience of emotional turmoil. Healing your inner child is paramount to embracing the change that you are seeking.

felt compelled to change the way I was living to be more in harmony with who I really am. This required me to begin exploring within, to begin healing my own inner child and to make my life less serious.  In my work as a healer I am able to share my intuitive guidance and knowledge, to help others tap into their own intuitive self and embrace their softer, feminine aspects so that the inner child can gently begin

to heal.

Meditation tips

10 Easy, Simple & Quick Steps to help you meditate.

1) If your head is really busy, write out worries, stressors or distractions onto paper or into a journal before attempting to meditate.  Burn or shred pages if necessary.

2) Read an inspirational passage before meditating.

3)Read something funny that will make you laugh before you meditate to help your diaphragm relax

4) Try gentle stretching beforehand. Head and shoulders and face.  It requires a certain amount of strength in your body to maintain good posture.

5) Try yoga postures – Salute to the Sun Yoga sequence is quick and easy.

6) Try Tibetan breathing. Breathe in and out to the count of 3, and increase to 4 or 5. Breathe from the belly, push your tummy out as you breathe in and pull your tummy in as you breathe out.

7) Sing or chant mantras.

8) Turn off your phone or place it on silent and minimize distractions so that you can fully relax.

9) Set an egg timer for the amount of time you want to meditate for. It could be as small as 1 minute

then build up the time from there.  Then you will know when the time is up and not have to worry about it.

10) Do 10 deep long breaths in and out to calm down your physical body. If this doesn’t work, then do some daggy dancing for a couple of minutes to loosed up your body.

Inspire and love

There can only be one of you, so make yourself FABULOUS!

Your inner child is your intuition, so nurture your inner child and your intuitive self will soar.

In today’s busy world, it’s easy to fear stress related diseases. The best antidote is a healthy dose of belly laughs.  Ironically these are highly contagious.

Next time you go for a walk, notice if you lead by your head or your heart.  If your head and eyes are down and you’re looking at the ground – you’re in your head.  If your head is up and you are looking at your surroundings, your shoulders will be back and your heart will be open – you are leading by your heart.

Healing past hurts from the Mother figure in your life helps you to open up to receiving from life itself.

Healing past hurts from the Father figure in your life helps you to become aware of the generous opportunities presenting themselves to you and then put them into action.

Healing the connection between you as the adult and you as the inner child so that you are both on the same page, allows your life to become easier and easier.

You can override the 4 letter word FEAR in your life by coming from the 4 letter word LOVE.

When was the last time you lay on Mother Earth, looked up to the sky and made figures and shapes out of the clouds overhead?

If you’re feeling grumpy or a bit disinterested in life, watch a small child and observe what they are doing, then imitate them. I guarantee that you will end up laughing.

To bring the inner child into your daily adult routine, wear different coloured nail polish, or wear your hair differently, or wear different coloured socks, or a brightly coloured piece of jewellry that you would not normally wear.

Have you ever heard the expression “you need to fill up your cup”? This simply means doing something for your inner child.  Once your inner child is acknowledged an inner sense of peace is felt.  Then your cup will be overflowing.

Next time you walk down the street, SMILE at everyone. Then see what happens.

Take notice of those people who are getting under your skin.  It simply means that there is something about their behaviour that is triggering off an aspect of yourself that you have not yet accepted.  Life will keep presenting people and situations to you until you do acknowledge and embrace that unaccepted part of you.

Want to reconnect with your inner child and make your life more playful and fun?

For some the fast pace of life has taken away the joy of life and has created an insatiable appetite for the accumulation of external things that we mistakenly believe will fill our emotional and spiritual void.  Life has become too serious which takes the fun, enjoyment and pleasure out of what may naturally unfold.

Over time, if this is not addressed, we can become emotionally detached from ourselves and from life itself.  Our sense of trust and curiousity slowly diminishes, along with our capacity to experience new and exciting life moments.  Restoring your connection with your inner child and allowing this to flourish will help to bring balance back into your life again.
