1. Building communication with local partners/non-partner NGOs: Initial contact has been made with
* Chakma Mahila Samithi Mizoram (CMS)
* Youth Buddhist Society (YBS), Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh
* Jeevak, Pune and SNEHA, Arunachal Pradesh
* Kirti Nishan Chakma of Moanoghar, Bangladesh for the forthcoming visit to assess the needs, implementation and room for improvement of the project functioning.
* Brig Gen (Retd) Aftab Uddin Ahmad of Underprivileged Children's Educational Programs (UCEP), for assessment of the Denis Wright Memorial Scholarship for Underprivileged Female Working Children in Bangladesh. Plans were made to meet him in Dhaka and to represent BODHI at the presentation of the second scholarship in January, 2012.
* Dr. Dhires Chowdhury of Banchbo from West Bengal was contacted for possible utilization of his expertise in the field of health.

2. Initiatives for effective implementation of projects: levels of monitoring, accountability and absorptive capacity of some of the partners need to be improved, which will enable them to achieve expected outcomes. Hence, to bring more accountability and to assess the areas of improvement, Partners Capacity Assessment and Quarterly Partners Progress Reporting forms have been designed to begin with the process of effective and efficient projects implementation by local partners.

3. Linkages: As a part of partner capacity building, SNEHA has been linked with Aide et Action, an international development agency, for free livelihood skills training which is scheduled to begin in the month of December, 2011 at its training centre in Guwahati, Assam. However, SNEHA is yet to respond to the proposed training for dropouts/staffs.
