BODHI's way is to start small with a local partner and build a good working relationship. This is what we did with Professor Melvyn C Goldstein and his team in Western Tibet. In the late 1990s, before we began the Revolving Sheep Bank in Phala, we funded both sanitation and educational projects: well covers and learning materials for nomad schoolchildren.
