Bodhicariya Education Project, Kolkata, India
Through the Australian Jumma community, BODHI is in its second year (in February, 2008) of supporting the work of the Bodhicariya Education Project, part of the vision of the Shishu Koruna Sangha (SKS).
SKS was founded in 1986 by social workers and engaged Buddhist monks in Kolkata 'to help the future generations grow ... It is primarily committed to educating the children who remain uncared for and bereft of opportunities for education, particularly in the Tribal families who have been neglected.'
Please contact us if you would like to know more about SKS.
